The Bluelab Truncheon® measures the nutrient strength of a solution. It is essential when growing in a hydroponic system to KNOW the strength of the nutrient to ensure optimum growing conditions promoting top health, thereby providing best quality product
To take a nutrient reading - first place the probe head into the nutrient solution, allowing sufficient time for the automatic temperature compensation to work (1-2 minutes) .
Secondly, remove from the nutrient, then place straight back in to switch the meter on again.
The reading is now indicated by the flashing lights
Rinse the probe head after use, in fresh water and clean it regularly to ensure years of trouble free, reliable and accurate readings.
